The Hobbit (Film)




Get ready for the return of "The Middle Earth" and all adventures you experienced in one of the most rated movie trilogy of all time "The Lord Of The Rings". Yes Peter Jackson, Academy Award® winning director of LOTR is back with most awaited prequel "THE HOBBIT". 

The Hobbit is a two-part epic fantasy, adaptation of the novel with same name by J. R. R. Tolkien. Movie will be released in two installments namely "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Joyrney" and "The Hobbit: There and Back Again". Both parts are in back to back production in New Zealand. They are scheduled to be released on 14 December 2012 and 13 December 2013 respectively. 

Martin Freeman will star as Bilbo Baggins, Richard Armitage as Thorin Oakensheild, Ornaldo Bloom as Legolas, Elijah Wood as Frodo Baggins, Hugo Weaving as Elrond, Andy Serkis as Gollum aka Smeagol and Ian McKellen as Gandalf. 

Plot follows the journey of character Bilbo Baggins and his adventures through out the journey. Tricked by the wizard, his friend Gandalf he finds himself joining the company of Thorin. Their journey take him deep into the wild full of dangers and lands of Giant Spiders, Orcs and Sorceres. Though their destiny was East and waste lands of the Lonely Mountains, they had to escape the goblin tunnels where Bilbo meets a creature Gollum which changes his life forever.

Total budget of the movie is said to be around $500 millions (approx). Music in the movie is given by Howard Shore and Andrew Lesnie acts as cinematographer and the movie is distributed by New Line Cinemas.
