Chandra Bahadur Dangi from Nepal crowned as World's Shortest Man

Chandra Bahadur Dangi from remote part of our country Nepal has been crowned as World's Shortest Man by Guinness World Records today. He just stands 54.6 cms beating the record of Filipino Junrey Balawing who was 59.9 cms tall. "I feel very good- I'm very happy. I'll keep on promoting my country", Mr. Dangi said to the reporters.  

He again brought this record back to Nepal after Junrey Balawing broke it for Philippines. Mr. Dangi just weighs about 12 kg and is quite healthy. His age is officially said to be 72. Khagendra Thapa Magar was also once crowned as World's Shortest Man from Nepal who measured 67 cms. Mr. Dangi have become now smallest man in the world who lives in the country of tallest peak Mount Everest. Mr Dangi was brought to the attention of the world only three weeks ago after Nepali researchers looking into the history of the Dangi people were introduced to him.
